What happens when you mix great friends, premium spirits, and a touch of mischief? The perfect hen do, of course! Recently, we brought our signature cocktail-making activity — Laugh, Shake & Drink It! — to a stylish apartment in Brixton, London, for a hen party that was anything but ordinary.
Led by our fabulous mixologist Jon Ale, this session was full of laughter, creative shaking, and a few cheeky toasts to the bride-to-be. It was the perfect blend of celebration, connection, and cocktails.
🍸 The Cocktail-Making Class: A Hen Do with a Twist
From the moment we arrived, the excitement was in the air. Our mobile bar was set, glasses gleamed, and guests were welcomed with a drink before diving into the experience.
Jon kicked off the session with fun introductions and some insider mixology knowledge — think sassy facts, cocktail history, and hands-on flair. Then the shaking began, with everyone stepping behind the bar to craft their own drinks, guided step by step.

The bride and her crew learned to make four fabulous cocktails, each one chosen for its flavour, flair, and feminine edge — perfect for a hen celebration:
🥂 French 75
Timeless, bubbly, and effortlessly classy
A mix of gin, fresh lemon juice, and sugar, topped with champagne — the French 75 brought vintage glamour to the party. Refreshing and elegant, it’s always a crowd-pleaser.

🌶 Spicy Margarita
Fiery, fun, and unforgettable
This bold twist on a classic combined tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, and a kick of fresh chilli for a lively, lip-tingling surprise. Perfect for the bride who’s a little bit extra.

💋 Flirtini
Fruity, flirty, and fabulous
With vanilla vodka, Passoa, passionfruit purée, and mango juice, this cocktail was served with a smoke bubble garnish that had everyone reaching for their phones. A hen party favourite with major wow factor.

🌺 Hibiscus Margarita
Floral, colourful, and beautifully balanced
This twist on the margarita featured tequila, hibiscus syrup, lime juice, and a hint of sweetness — finished with a petal rim that gave it both beauty and bite.

💃 A Night to Remember
The whole experience was more than just drinks — it was a full-on vibe. Guests laughed, posed with their creations, and even competed for the best shaker moves. The bride-to-be was glowing (and not just from the cocktails!), and the room was filled with energy, music, and love.
